What pace reveals

Greetings,

Lately, I’ve been noticing how much our pace reveals about what matters to us.

Not in an accusing way. Just an honest one.

When life moves quickly, certain things rise to the surface. What we protect. What we prioritize. What we return to without being reminded.

And other things quietly wait. Not because they’ve lost importance. But because they require space.

Faith tends to grow in unhurried moments. So does presence with family. So does clarity around the things we’ve been entrusted with.

A full pace isn’t a failure. Often, it’s a sign of care.

Care for work. Care for family. Care for responsibility.

The question isn’t whether we should slow everything down. It’s whether our pace is aligned with what we say matters most.

Scripture often speaks of walking, not rushing. Of paying attention. Of being led, not driven.

Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is notice where a small adjustment would bring more life, not less.

This chapter doesn’t ask you to escape your pace. It invites you to listen to what it’s already telling you.
