Trusting God
There is a distance between what a man says he believes about God and what he does when the answer does not come. These letters sit in that gap.
Habakkuk asking how long. A view of God that has quietly shrunk, and shows up as anxiety. The difference between knowing the doctrine of God’s sovereignty and surrendering to it while circumstances stay unresolved. Meditating on Scripture rather than reading it quickly and moving on.
None of this is about trying harder. It is about whether the God you are trusting is as big as the one Scripture describes.
